My work has always evolved around forests, trees and nature. I find a great personal connection and source of energy in the natural world. I try and capture the way I experience this in my art. My work has developed into individual ‘portraits’ of trees, exploring their shapes, colours and textures. These explorations often evolve into slightly abstract, otherwordly depictions of natural objects that are often overlooked.
